Recipe by: Ange. I thought this recipe was alot of work but worth it. Better and easier. It is very good--not really difficult at all, just a little labor intensive. Use a good blender to grate the cheese, and most of the work is done. I add several more garlic cloves, peppercorns, We enjoyed this well enough, but not nearly enough for me to make it again.

A couple of eggs give it a little bit of a custard-like texture. What I love about this mac and cheese besides the fact that it is gooey, cheesy heaven, is that it is cooked in a crockpot. So I may try that next time because it definitely would shorten and simplify the cooking time. Too many celebrity chefs on the Food Network just seem so over the top and annoying.
