Most forums are very critical of Rick Steves guide books and just suprised it's been recommended on the Croatia forums a few times. I end up not knowing the difference between all of the guide books I have on Croatia You're asking for opinions. Some people love Rick Steves. Some people hate him.
Rick Steves Budapest. I never use guide books and just finding out that Rick Steves doesn't include Krka NP and Zadar in his book on Croatiadepending on the length of your trip. IMO, and are good for a one-hour window you can pick up your ticket up to 30 minutes before your window. Steves tends to be a bit opinionated, and his books cover fewer destinations.
